February was a big month for parties in the Edison Latin club we had both a roman market and a dance party.

On February 15th the 8th period Latin level two classes had a mock roman market. Everyone was tasked with creating something to sell to the rest of the class using roman currency. A Lot of people made food such as brownies, cookies, sodas and other desserts. One group made keychains with roman god signatures out of clay, another made paper flowers, another 3D printed mini roman statues. There was a very popular raffle you could enter to win rubber ducks.

On February 21st after school we had a dance party with glow in the dark balloons and glow sticks. We played Just Dance and people were able to put in a request for what song they would like to dance to next. There were sodas and chips and pizza to eat. Every hour on the hour we had a raffle for gift cards. The party went from three PM to seven thirty PM.
Next month will start off strong with certamen on March first at Thomas Jefferson high school.
